By the way - I figured out VERY quickly that the dreaded ANC (Active Noise Cancelling) rares it's ugly head when any audio system changes are made (low humming, "booming", yucky unwanted annoying "noise"). Fortunately, I was able to search and figure out I needed to remove the center console trim (the whole piece which has the heater/AC controls, emergency flashers, center vents, around the shift selector, interior light switch), loosen/remove the stereo, and unplug the plug from the back of the stereo the plug that has five (5) wires. With this plug removed, ANC is now "off" and I can enjoy nice full bass in my Ody without ANC "noise"/annoyances...!

You saved me!... I installed a 4 channel and mono amps and spent every extra moment installing everything (including fulling installing sound deadening the doors and floor and hatch) while working 90 hours a week at work (took me 3 weeks of work) and when I finally tested it... feedback extremely bad... spent hours more trying to figure out what I did wrong and gave up and started looking up wiring for my 08 and found this comment... that 1 plug was it and I finally have 150 rms per speaker and 2500 on my sub (using lithium for my rear battery and xs power for the starting batt) and most importantly NO FEEDBACK!... THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH. And if anyone wanted to know this van has been the hardest car I've ever installed a full system in and my 2000 crv was the easiest car I've ever installed in. looks completely stock other then tweeters in the doors and the sub under a false floor where the 3rd-row seats folded into the floor (60% side only... the 40% side still folds down)... now to play 40's jazz and test it out. THANK YOU again.

** The wiring diagram shows the negative, or green lead, going through the fuse panel located under the dash on the driver's side. This is the only speaker whereby this occurs. When I install my system, I'll trace this wiring set and see how it's routed. This could be the reason why aftermarket DSP's and amps don't work well on Touring models?

Hi,

Do you know the pin numbers of each wires?
I bought a wire harness but it seems that the wire colors are not the same.

Thanks,

I am trying to install a USA SPEC PA15-HON2 to my 2007 Touring NAV/RES. Because of the RES they suggest to connect a relay to main power for radio.

Please look at Fig 2 at Page 10 of this manual.
http://www.usaspec.com/userfiles/editor/file/581PA15HON.pdf

Can I get the power from Yellow/Red and connect Ground from the relay to black ?

What do you think? I don't realy like to cut through factory wires. Can you suggest something?

Thanks

Dprzyby posted that he did not need to use the power relay in his install in his 05 with RES but if you must, you can use these T-Tap Connectors to tap, not cut, the Factory wires, these things require this Male Quick Disconnect.
They only go as small as 22 Gauge (red) though.
I prefer to use these Quick splice adaptors. No need for the quick disconnects. \\/almart sells 6 pack for $2, cheaper than other carparts stores. It will look like this pix:

Thanks for sharing. It was really usefull and I will try this weekend and will post some pictures soon.
As I mentioned before, I just don't want to open the dash twice and rather to take some more time and do it complete at the first attempt.

I installed the PA15-HON2 whithout ralay. When I took radio out I noticed that wires are to small for my T-Tap connectors. Since this connection was for main power, I didn't want to risk the loose connection. Device seems to work fine for now. I placed the USA Spec unit right beside glove box and made a hole in the upper glove box for my IPod connector. I have 5th gen. IPod video and it plays and get charged at the same time. RES works fine so far.

07 Odyssey wiring

Thanks for sharing this -- this is probably the most accurate list I've seen so far for my 2007 Odyssey. I just bought an Android Head Unit (from Pumpkin) and I also want to wire up the steering wheel controls. I'm trying to identify all of the wires in the blue plug that goes in the back of the factory unit. In one video I saw (I think it was an 08 model), the steering wheel controls are compatible with these Android Head Units -- pressing buttons just changes the resistance in the line. In another video I saw on YouTube, someone identified in the 07 Odyssey exactly which wires you need to use (I labelled them "SWC?" and "SWC Gnd?" below). Based on the above and the standard EIA wire colors, here is my list of the EIA colors and the 07 Odyssey colors. I'm not sure if I am numbering them correctly, but it was helpful for me to number each pin.

Does anyone know what the red/blue wire is for (pin 7 below)?

Any way to get the wiring diagram to the navigation screen and the under seat nav-dvd for a 2009 ODY, ex-l? Thanks!

I apologies if this question has been asked but i have a 2006 Honda Odyssey EX and there are 6 different plugs on the back of the factory stereo and i cant figure out what they all do. Dose anybody know whet they do and if i need to worry about any of them beside the main plug. And is there a reverse wire in any of the plugs because i need to tap into one for my new stereo. Thank You

I am afraid you are going to have to scrap your project. The screen works on the CAN bus protocol. Your truck is not going to be able to be wired for the CAN bus.

Okay. Good luck and best wishes for your project.
