Preparing to sell my dad's dealership serviced Ody Touring with 118k miles and new cat conv. I really don't want to sell with these worn and very aged PAX tires, but dePAXing is proving a pain. I'm getting closer to selling as Fixer and hope to get enthusiast, but either way, I expect to be lowballed, unless I fix up to sell to general public seeking van for family. NAV and rear screens all work.

Thoughts on this?

Also, will 2006 Pilot wheels fit? The seem to have same 5x115 bolt pattern and 64.1mm hub bore which the Pilot's are, but specs seem to vary.

Umm nope the 2005 odyssey needs a 5X120 wheel not a 5x114.3 so they won't fit.

I'm not sure what you're trying to get price wise but depending on your market it probably is worth 6-8K just for the miles. Remember it's also a 2005 so it's old. The prices of the 5th gens are starting to really drop (although usually with higher miles) Still I'd rather go with newer and higher mileage due to age/rust possibilities. Around my area (MA) a 3rd gen really would fetch 4 or 5K really so I wouldn't waste too much time trying to get new wheels as the bang for buck when you sell probably isn't there.
Thanks, so you think there is enough value (and market size) to sell to find an Ody fan, not just a van fan? I've not tried marketing at all and think I'll start as-is first and see what kind of feedback I get.

Wheels+tires will probably cost you around $1k+ unless you can score one VERY cheap from salvage yard.

If it was me, I would just dePAX and drive the car unless you HAVE to sell. $1k or 1.5k is like 3 car payments = really nothing. Disable the VCM and just drive it. It is a nice car.

I expect my EXL to fetch around $3500 max (it has scratches, some rusting spots, and back up camera hit the ghost - NAV works though), not worth it for me to sell - $3500 is like 6 car payments at "reasonable" $580/mo. ($35k at 0% - or more like $30k at 5%) and I am quite confident that I can go next 6 mo. no problem and at this point, as long as it is running, it pretty much has hit the floor in value IMHO.
Here's what I don't get. In looking for wheels in used market, I'm seeing others sell these PAX wheels/tires. Who is buying these? They are fetching like $2-300 for special rims that cannot get replacement tires? Are they fooling people? I've been finding some parting out EX-Ls but the wheels go fast.
