2011 Odyssey Touring - Replace Battery indicator

Has anyone with a 2011 Odyssey replaced their battery?
I find it odd that in less than 3 years, the car is saying we need to replace the battery.
I checked the voltage across the terminals (van turned off) is only 12.75V, which I think is low; right?

Does anyone know if the battery is covered by the Honda Extended Warranty?

What size (group number) is the battery?

That should be right actually, it's a 12V system. Did you check while the van was on?

With engine running, it is 14V.

With engine off, the voltage varies between 12.3V and 12.7V.

The battery seems to be running properly to me. Maybe loose connections somewhere?

Read the OM. Battery is covered for 3 years 36K miles. Also, it is fairly common for Honda batteries to die this soon in their life. Search is your friend and paying attention to last gen forum is key as its the same way in 3rd gen as well. As you have already seen, there is a long discussion on the error in question on here already.
