I currently have a 2014 Honda Odyssey and am looking to buy a camping trailer for the first time. Max towing capacity for the van states 3,500lbs. Does this mean that the trailer I can pull needs to be less than this? I'm assuming that if the Dry weight of the trailer was 3,600 lbs as an example, that this would be too much for the van. If so, what is a safer weight that I should be looking towards - 2,800?
