Just bought a 2015 Odyssey E.X. from copart wrecked in the front and rear. I noticed while looking up after market parts the hood says fits 2014-17. Fenders 2014-17. front and rear bumper cover fit 2011-17. I thought the 2012 and 2013 would fit. Anyone have any experience with these parts?

I don't know about your 4th Gen, but with the 3rd Gen you had to also swap the headlights and grill along with the hood/fenders/bumper between the pre and post refresh models. So add headlights and grill to your interchange search.

No, there will be gaps. They changed the design for the refresh. You'd need basically all the front end body parts.

The front fenders, headlights, and bumper cover do not need to be changed for a Gen 4 Odyssey. Same part numbers for 2012 and 2015.

The hood is different (pre-refresh is shorter and steel, post-refresh is longer and aluminum) and the main grille is different (the post-refresh is more upright to match up with the longer hood). I'm not sure if the hood latch location is different between the years. Probably not but it might be.

Mixing the parts will look funny. You'll definitely be able to tell that something ain't right.

Edit: I was wrong earlier - the front fenders are also aluminum and different in the 2014-2017 Odysseys. Those would have to change to make the steel hood look and fit right.

Bottom line - just get the right parts.

They are aluminum, but they are the same shape (fenders).

Front bumper lower inserts are different early and late, as is the upper grill, as you mentioned. The main cover should be the same.

Headlights have different coloring (black surrounds on the late version) but physically swap.

That's what I mean. You technically don't need to change it, but it will look quite odd otherwise. I believe I have seen pictures of people who have done the swap and the results you get.

At my u-pick the 4th gens are rarer than 1st gens! :ROFLMAO:

That's true - gen 4 Odysseys are worth fixing up, even with a salvage title. Wrecked ones don't make it past salvage auctions - the OP is living proof of that. It's rare to see one sitting available for parts.

It's very meta to be looking for salvage yard parts to fix up a salvage yard vehicle. :p

Finally finished it. Hit front and rear. Just need to cut and buff what I resprayed. I'm happy total for everything including registration under $6,500. And sold my 2008 for $5,000. Ready for Disneyland trip coming soon.
