I’ve been burning gas way too quick these last few weeks… the intake mods make such a great roar at full throttle!

Unfortunately the weather has been kinda crap and I’ve been tied up with a bunch of other projects so I still haven’t installed the Timbrens… but it’s coming!

The other day I was surfing the web looking for other mods and I got to thinking about how floaty the van is.. I get it, it’s a minivan, it’s never gonna handle but I found this stuff:

Anyone install any of it?

I would tread very lightly with wanting to "stiffen up" a GEN5 ODY. Due to the nature of it's construction in the chassis and body having metal an epoxy/adhesive joints it needs to be able to flex, or possibly they could break loose the joints where they are used. Some of these ODYs have leaks where I thought the engineers using these materials never used any time wear study to these joints. I may be wrong and could be, but I generally throw caution in with the wind.

Good point about the leaks, I wouldn’t wanna unnecessarily stress the seams and tempt fate since people are already dealing with that. I was more thinking of the sway bar… I always upgrade it on my cars.. curious if it would have a big impact on this behemoth

Ok boys, today was Timbren day.

Not a super hard install, the factory bump stops came out with a pry bar and a hefty amount of pressure. The ratchet strap method is probably easier but just busting them out is faster so that’s what I did.

I backed the van up on ramps which made the whole thing easier since when I jacked up each side it was already sitting pretty high off the ground.

As recommended by Timbren, I just cut down a 2x4 to like 6 inches and gradually lowered it down a few times to get the rubber seated. I used some silicone lube and left them in the freezer for a few hours before to shrink them a bit.

Massive difference in handling feel after install. Barely any sag on the rear end and you really feel the sway eliminated since the new rubber is so much stronger than the factory ones.

Overall I recommend the product but still find the price to be a little high. I paid 240 for, basically, rubber pucks. I’m excited to see how they do with the van fully loaded with people and cargo.

Idlestopper V2 installed. 30 mins, not difficult just had to be careful with all the trim. Facebook had very mixed opinions on this thing but I wanted to disable the silly engine stop automatically and this does the trick. So far it works perfectly
Nice. I've been contemplating getting the idlestopper. Right now I press that little button to disable it as soon as I get in the car. I NEVER run it. Honda should give the option to permanently disable it.

Here's the video on how to install idle stopper on the Odyssey for anyone that is considering it:

Hardly a mod but I had some time today and got the front windows tinted at 35%. They’re somewhat lighter than the factory rears and that’s what I was going for. No need to draw attention (tickets) with limo tints and hopefully this isn’t an inspection issue!

This is very confusing it’s reading like you’re asking me where I got the STOCK bumpstops, which would be at Honda… when I bought the car.

If you mean to ask where I bought the Timbren SES, I ordered them from Next Level Performance.

They make a nice difference in ride quality. It’s still a minivan but there’s no sag in the rear and it doesn’t feel so floaty in sweeping corners when the body rolls

Looking good. I also did 35% ceramic tint up front. Also added the WeatherTech rain guards as they sit flush compared to OEM.

I have a request. Can you provide a link to these parts? Or some number? Because I can't find HO on their website
