I just recently got a new OBD II scanner, and decided to give it a test run. well this code showed up, there is no check engine light, Its a ABS Battery Voltage High Malfunction. The car battery has been replaced a few months ago and is relatively new. I have not cleared the code yet, and have not took off the negative wire on the batter terminal . The can is 2007 and I had it inspected in November and it passed without any mention of this code. I read it could be a ground issues but I am the original owner and I have not done any upgrades except for routine maintained (fluid, breaks, shocks, timing belt on the car). I'm going to clear the code later today to see if it disappears if not I'm going to take off the ground for 15 min. if that dose not resolve it where should I begin to look?

Many inspections are only concerned with Engine and Emissions related codes. See if after clearing it, if the code returns.

I cleared the code but then got a 84-01 Sensor logic failure code got a little nervous but was able to clear that one to that code turn on the VSA the brake and the ABS lights on the dash. But was able to clear that luckily. I wonder if the ABS sensors are starting to go bad that’s why the code originally occurred? Or I had the brake fluid changed a month ago? Maybe the master cylinder needs to be changed it feels low to me but my wife says it’s feels the same to her? Regardless both codes are gone for now.
