No, not normal. Do you have another physical key to try?

 

I’ve tried both the new key and original key and get the same result.

 

Go to an automotive locksmith.

 

Try turning the key to unlock twice (first, forcing up the driver’s door lock, then second turn unlocks all doors electronically) and see if it disarms the alarm.

 

I tried this and it didn't work :/

 

Have you looked into the owner's manual? Online versions of them are stickied up top. I would recommend going over the security system section and then determining if this is expected behavior or a problem. The FOB arms the system. If you simply use the key, it won't disarm the system but there are steps to take while you insert the key in the ignition to disarm the system.

Hence why, my recommendation to go over the owner's manual.
