I just bought a 2006 EX-L with Sport Package installed. The sport package includes "Auto-Dimming mirror" with "Compass".

I could not find any instructions on calibrating this compass at various sites HONDA, HANDA or COLLEGEHILLS.

On searching quite a bit I found "Usage" instructions for a similar mirror on a subaru site. The mirros looks identical to Honda accessory. I tried the instructions and they work.

The factory default compass zone was 8. I changed it to 11 for my area and behold... What was NE became E. That direction is correct.
