Hi all, my 2011 Odyssey has the check engine light, VSA light problem. It initially happened back in 2021 when both lights came on and it came down to it being a bad cell in the battery. Replaced it and the lights went out. The second time it happened was in April of this year (2023) and I purchased a new gas cap and the lights went off again. A week ago the two lights came back on and I got a code saying misfire in cylinder 3 and a code for a transmission relay as it shudders the car if I try to accelerate to highway speed too quickly.. Before I go to the dealer (to get reamed lol lol lol) does anyone have an idea about the placement of the trans relay? I like to know going in what to expect.
Thank you all

Flashing CEL- indicates misfire. Cylinder 3, usual suspect VCM. Read post 1 of the VCM Mega-Thread.
What's the code for the 'transmission relay'? And what's the trim of your Ody? Not sure if they all share the same trans for 2011.

For the misfire, if you go to the dealership, you WILL get reamed and then some. To the tune of up to 6K.

I have a scanning tool and the code for the trans is C0A00.
Fix the misfire code (spark plugs, disable VCM), reset the CEL and see what comes back...
