Code for Navigation?

My friend just purchased used 2002 EX with Nav.

he said, his Nav system is asking him to type in some kinda of password/code? since he got it as used he does not have user's manual.. (I can't help it since mine does not have Nav)

should i just tell him to stop by Honda dealer...

advice?

Yes, or call Honda customer service. Using the VIN info they can tell you the code over the phone. I do not have the Honda customer service right now with me but you can call the Honda dealer and they can tell you.

The other thing is that the manual won't help much anyway because it does not contain the code. It is unique for each van.

If the van has the owners manual in the glove box look in there for a white card. Non-nav models' card say Radio Code on it. I'm not sure if the nav models also say Radio Code. It is a 5 digit number.
