How heavy are the bikes, and what size hitch is installed on the van?

 

Thanks for reaching out Bandit. The bikes are about 80 lbs each. Aventon, 4 inch fat tire e-bikes. The hitch is the factory class 2 hitch with a 2” receiver.

Keep in mind that your two e-bikes probably weigh more than 5 mountain bikes or six road bikes. Plus, a swing away bike rack is usually around 100+ lbs.
