FINALLY had the Wings West kit installed

After 2 years to the date of owning the Wings West bodykit, I finally got around to having the kit fitted and painted at a bud's shop last week.

Ended up painting the rear window spoiler body-colour also.

This was NOT an easy bodykit to mount. It required heating of the kit in the bake oven for hours to get it to conform, making custom tabs for the side skirts to ensure they won't rip off with the supplied foam adhesive strips, and a lot of wet-sanding to ensure proper paint adhesion.

But it got a lot of praise while in the shop.

Looks super nice. What tires and springs are you running?

HachiRoku - Thanx ! Been very busy with getting my new shop up and running. Don't spend time working on my van much, as we just finished race season, and been working on the race cars, and project cars.

Radar-eclipse - tires are Yokohama AVS Sports, 235/50/18.
Rims are Konig Imagine Hyper Blacks.
Springs are H&R's.
Rotors are KVR silver cross drilled.

I'm still going to build an intake and an exhaust for the van, but hard to take the van off the road, as wife and child need it for transportation daily : )

I always felt that the H&R's didn't drop the van enough (I''m used to my 240SX, RX7, Audi being very low with coil overs), but for the OEM shocks, I would not wish to lower the van much more, as the ride quality would deteriorate.

With the bodykit, the ride height appears much lower now, so the tire gap is not as noticeable now.

If Tokico or KYB come out with a decent adjustable dampeing shock, I think I'd still build a set of coil overs for the front, and make adjustable rear spring perches for the rear with air bags - but in all honesty, it's a wife/kid hauler, so I don't want to go too balistic with lowering it.

Like you said, the kit makes it look lower. That's why I was curious what springs they were. The tread of the tires looked like Yoko's.

Body Kit

Where did you purchase your body kit from? Is this the WW body kit pictured in the .jpg attachment? I think it's really wicked. I'm thinking of improving the look of my Ody, but don't know where to start. I've see that Ora Lag picture on this link and was wondering where he got that spoiler that is installed by the rear windshield wiper.
