2020 Odyssey EX
Anyone know causes and solutions?Symptoms:
1. Can't use the door lock buttons on driver or front passenger to lock the doors once the van is off. Which means the van is unlocked whenever I leave it.
2. Won't remote start or unlock for either of our keys, even after replacing the battery.
3. Won't even start with push button unless I hold the key fob right over the button (which means it is only responding to RFID).
4. Earlier today, it would not start at all. Replaced the battery. The above symptoms remain.
At this point I’m wondering about blown fuses, door actuator, or central computer, but really have no idea.
Update 8/15 - Actuator in one sliding door now making that annoying spinning/slipping noise and door won’t open manually or automated.
Perhaps of note is that the van had been in the dealer twice for FAKRA replacement and the second time, they broke the connection to the back wiring harness, resulting in a complete gutting of the interior to replacing both wiring harnesses. Could that have led to a ground fault or moisture in any electronic components?
