Anyone have experience? or used such an application.

I do have a Fumoto valve though I did research and considered it for cars. Going through various forums, stahlbus valves seems to be a better choice. Smaller, more solid profile and use. Both are excellent choices though.

My ody has an oversized insert already so I am just sticking with what was in there when I bought it since it seemed to have been repaired for stripped original bolt. As for our camry, oil pan got a slight dent when my dad might have hit something. In this case, since these valves protrude a little, it is something to consider. Things can happen.

Do you have a part number? Is this it?

Do you need an adapter?

I also found this.
Thoughts?

I suggest you don't get the SX series, because it'll end up pointing downward toward the ground, and you'll have no space to swing that drain, risking that drain getting hit by something. I have seen that setup and it's not for the J-series engine in my opinion. You should get the F-106S with the adapter. Here it is on my Accord V6, which uses about the same oil pan as the Odyssey. Get the 90 degree elbow with the clear hose, it's a super easy oil drain.

I have used this for over 120K miles by the way.

I use F106S, with ADL106 adapter and makes it out of that crevice of the pan so you can turn the latch. It has a short nipple for the 90 elbow adapter.

The Stahlbus or Valvomax one might pose a problem hitting the sub-frame or the J-pipe, with a straight adapter and hose you need to screw on. Plus... it's another thing to screw on. You want to avoid any type of screw that can strip out that's I use Fumoto, with a latch like a faucet.
