It says you must always use the rubber blocks supplied with the QuickJack when lifting a vehicle, and I also purchased these slotted rubber supports as well.
Here is a picture of the pinch weld rail running the length of the Odyssey...

In all likelyhood, you will be fine and I hate to beat a dead horse.

As you can clearly see from your picture, Odyssey has additional lift support bracket that is attached to pinch weld. The point here is that spot is also reinforced to allow the vehicle to be lifted. Same with rear lift point.
The rubber pucks are great, and will preserve the condition of pinch weld, but if you lift it just anywhere on a pinch weld, you don't know whether that specific spot is reinforced enough to bear the weight of the vehicle.

As I said, you will likely be ok, but there is always the risk.

Yes, I understand and know that there are the reinforced areas in the rail and that is where the lift points truly are. The hockey puck type of support doesn't actually fit in those areas because they are a bit curved but they fit my Hyundai perfectly. I just use the stock thick rubber blocks with cut ribs in them on the Odyssey, and make sure they are just right in the middle of the weld itself so as to balance out the load. Takes a little bit of extra time to line it up but so far, no issues at all. Thanks for the input though Max, it's appreciated.

That is a great lift option to have. It does have limitations, but also a bunch of great aspects.
Like portability for example, you could throw it anywhere, even asphalt driveway.
The amount of lift is a limited factor too, but it gives you clear access to entire underside without blocking anything.
These lifts are overbuilt with a big safety factor, so I would not be concerned about vehicle shifting or dropping. There are built in safety catches.
It works great for basic vehicle maintenance, oil changes, tire rotations, brake jobs and suspension work.

Funny part is that full size lifts are surprisingly not too expensive, the biggest limiting factor is the size of the garage they go into
Lol, around '00 a friend of mine tired of his career as a line mechanic at several car dealers and had enough income flipping houses he could wrench just part time at home. His room mate at the time happened to install in ground lifts for a living, and it was pretty common when they installed a new one, they had an old worn out one they were asked to just haul to the dump. Of course worn out often just meant all the rubber was shot, and his boss was an old guy who had connections to get all the components to rebuild the seals on many newer and less obscure units.
After about a year my friend had one installed in the good sized garage, one outside the garage to the side on a concrete pad, and opposite of that on a larger pad one that must have been twice as long, had 4 posts, and dont know if it could hold a semi but I did see a diesel pusher RV on it once in awhile. But thats not the fun part. This was in the college area of san diego which is hardly a scenic view area but if you jump up to the roof of some homes you get a pretty sweeping view of the bay and downtown.
So they took a fourth one, stuck it in the ground in the backyard outside the kitchen patio door... and built a deck around it and mounted a big hot tub to it. Held about 5 or 6 people and when fully raised you had a priceless view to the ocean and bay about 7 miles away.

Alas when I saw him a couple of years later someone had called city code compliance officers on him and operating a repair garage is strictly verboten in your home in this city, and he was forced to remove every one of them from the property.
It was a very cool thing to see.

Resurrecting this thread to verify (not at home to measure, but considering a purchase): Am I correct in assuming the Odyssey needs the ”X” extended version and it will hit the reinforced jack points or no?

Considering getting a 7000TL and adding the extensions that effectively turn it into the TLX. Seems like the best of both worlds with the most versatility.
