HDMI noise

Anyone have noise, like cracking in the speakers, when watching on the RES through the HDMI? I have a mini media player that plays great elsewhere but when hooked up to the the van, I get crackling sounds in the driver side speakers after the hdmi player has been on for 30 mins. Crackling only happens while sound is actually coming out of the player. So the device can be on for 20 mins and then a movie is stated and then 10 minutes into the movie the sound will start. If I switch to bluray and back to hdmi, it becomes clear again. If I unplug the hdmi cord for a second from either the car or player, the sound becomes clear again. I've tried similar players by other companies and was sent a replacement for the first player it happens with all of them. It's gotta be the van. Could something not be connected correctly?

I use a Chromecast device manufacturer by/for Epson, I personally haven't noticed anything abnormal with sound. We've also used a few mini consoles (Nintendo, Sega) and haven't heard anything.

I do not believe the RES system has any form of surround sound on the input side, it won't allow me to select anything other than stereo within the Chromecast.

The van seems to accept a stereo signal then do whatever processing is required on its end.

I just assumed they were using a format like Auro 3D due to implementation of the front center and Voice of God channel in my van within the RES monitor. I believe they're just blending some of the left and right to get "center imaging".

I have tried different hdmi cords but no luck. I even tried a ferrite core hdmi cords which my kids keep breaking. I was able to test a firestick recently; the noise didn't happen with it though I'll have to try it again when I have a longer drive to double check it. I think the noise is not just in the front either. I believe you can also hear it from the left (driver side) sliding door.

I get the noise when using these players: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00TOAAHG4?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details

I bought a G23 and Micca sent me a 4K to try. Both still made the noise.
