We'll have our 2004 Odyssey paid off in a month and we'll then be replacing our 1999 Accord (220K miles).
We're looking at getting a Civic (not hybrid). Guessing there may be some Civic owners here as well so looking for opinions.
Also looking for some opinions on Honda Navigation systems as we'll probably explore that with the new car.
One last thing, if anyone knows of a website that might have fairly comprehensive information on what to expect in changes and prices from the 2008 to 2009 model that'd be great to have.
I've done some checking but there appears to only be a smattering of information. For the most part, not a big model year change.
Thanks in advance for the info.

I know that 2009 will be the Civics MMC, I cant believe the Civic has already been out for 3 years. I remember when it 1st came out I was invited to go to one of those ride and drives. I would wait to see if 09 will bring any changes worth while if not then you should be able to get a great deal on an 08. Thats what I did with the Odyssey I thought the 08 MMC would be like the 2nd gens MMC in 02 but to me it wasn't worth the additional money and settled for an 07.

Well, I have an '06 Civic coupe, and an '07 Ody with Navigation.

I bought the Civic two years ago this week and it just turned 40k.
I opted for the coupe over the sedan for the upgraded stereo and the sportier suspension.
Now you can get leather, which is nice.
It's a lot of fun to drive and still feels very tight. Other than a clock that ran unusually fast (dealer replaced entire radio assy, under warr.) and both front struts going bad at separate times (TSB, dealer replaced under warr.), it's been a great car.

As far as Nav goes, we like it's integration into the vehicle. The voice recognition can be tricky sometimes, but it can be entertaining! Aftermarket units work better and are more up to date, but ours has been fine for our purposes, so far.
