Ok...so I have a loud ticking noise from the engine bay on COLD start ups. Goes away after 10 min of driving. So the van was needing plugs anyways, so i replced them...also changed oil (5w-20) and flushed the Power steering - it was time do this anyways. I also filled up 93 OCT gas vs the 87. After doing all this it still is present...but runs better which it should after all that i did the van.
SO I'm reading about the VTC actuator getting out of round?? I will assume that applys to my 06 Ody EXL? Not sure why the valves or whatever is making the noise. Heat shield looked solid with no play...any other ideas that dont involve me getting into the engine and messing with timing things?
