Hey, I've been feeling pretty ripped off at the mechanics lately, looking for some advice on my latest quote.

'14 Odyssey
Front motor mount ($841 part)
Rear motor mount ($776 part)
1 Side motor mount ($100 part)
~5.2 hrs of labor @ $176.94 / hr

~$2800 total

How is this possible? And I've already spent like $4000 in the last few months leaving several things unfixed. Any advice? In the Phoenix area.

Thanks for the info.

Contacted a few mobile mechanics.
#1 said $400 for labor plus parts (he'd get back to me)
#2 said $670 for labor plus $1389 for parts
#3 said he'd get back to me

Since I'm doing the front and rear already, should I just do the other side ones at the same time? There are 6 total?

Should I buy the parts and then find someone to put them in, or have them buy them? Sounds like #2 is marking them up quite a bit.

OEM motor mounts supposed to last for a very, very long time. My 2012 Ody is now 203K and the only mount I replaced is the passenger side. I am lucky there are several large junk yards from where I live.. These OEM I got cost just $25 each and I keep back up 2 pairs of main front and back, another 2 below (tranny) and 1 passenger side. these mount I keep are 5-6 years old but they are OEM.
