On a LHD, it’s beside the passenger’s left anklebone, behind an oval rubber plug.
On yours I’d bet it’s beside your passenger’s right anklebone, in the Center console, about 8” off the floor.
The rubber plug may be throwing you off. My rubber plug has been missing for 10 years.

 

I think that with both RHD and LHD it's mounted on the center console on the right side. Look for the oval plug that covers the OBD connector as GenOne describes. Please report back @ChrisHoar which side you locate the elusive OBD port!
