I believe you have to check the FCC ID number on the back. As I understand, there are two series, one for Odyssey Model years 99 to 00, and one for 01 to 02. (This is the EX remote with door controls).
The 99 to 00 should have this FCC ID#: E4EG8DN
The 01 and 02 should have this FCC ID# OUCG8D-440H-A
I recently got a remote off Ebay with FCC ID# OUCG8D-440H-A, and was able to program it (using instructions from this forum -thanks
) to work with my '02 EX.
