Does anyone know how this system works? Is it tied to gps or is it an optical sensor that reads speed limit signs? I suspect the latter. I see that my system is not always accurate sometimes displaying incorrect limits. Is this just a buggy system or is there a camera/sensor that may need adjusting/replacing? I raised it to the dealer as the car is still under warranty and they just said it’s based on maps, which I don’t believe because Ive seen it display 85 mph in residential area and there’s likely few if any 85 mph speed limits in the country.

It was too funny, when going to our church this afternoon, the Speed Limit sign had a cover over over the 65 numbers except, it only covered the second half of the 6, the cover had 55 on it. The display showed 655 speed limit. :ROFLMAO::LOL::ROFLMAO:

It is now the following day now, different reading on the same speed limit sign it shows 65 MPH... Well so much for Honda's accuracy, although the contractor working on the Interstate 80 has not covered all the speed limit with it's cover-over of original 65 speed limit sign with the 55 speed limit. I willl attempt to take a picture of the sign when we head to church for VBS.
