there is not a technical reason why I can't do it, but Verbatim uses 05 style plug for the resistor plug. I only got the 07+ style plugs this time around.
I know this may not sound optimal, but I suggest you sell your VCM muzzler, they still fetch a pretty penny and buy my version.

I would also have to play around with insulating the resistor. I use heat shrink and liquid tape to insulate my version, and it should be pretty resilient.

Okay. Please hang on to one if you have a limited supply.

Right there with you brother. Too hard to train a new younger one and them younger ones are pretty high maintenance.

Under normal driving I do not see it at all. If I stop at a store or waiting for the wife to come out of work and I leave it idling, then once I start driving I see it a few times. Would that be normal operation? That's all I'm asking.

Yes. I have the VCMuzzler and if I am in too much stop and go traffic, my ECO light turns on (and off as needed) till I get on a stretch of open road. You are overthinking this. That is normal operation for both of these products VCMuzzler and Maxmuzzler.

Swift shipping on my Max Muzzler. @maxud set a good "engineering estimated" resistance setting for my locale, and not seeing that ECO light warms my heart. This was for a 2012 Accord EX-L sedan with "i-VTEC" labeled on the plastic engine cover, a fancy name for VCM afflicting its J35 V6.

This vehicle has just over 100,000 miles on the odometer, and now I can confidently perform the schedule spark change knowing I won't gum up a new set of NGK's. I like that it drives like a real V6, now.
