Water Leak from right rear of engine near bottom

The vehicle is leaking water and over-heating. The water is coming out a small hole about 5mm / 1/4-inch in diameter, which is situated near the bottom left side of the engine, near the left wheel just above the left drive shaft.

An image is attached to this posting. The is beside the finger.

The hole is meant to be there, but perhaps a plug is missing or there is an internal cause for the water to leak out of this hole.

Has anyone experienced this problem and know how to fix it.

what vehicle are we talking about here? If an Odyssey, posting trim, year and mileage would probably help folks understand your issue better and in turn you would get a better response.

How many miles on it, and was the water pump changed at the same time as the timing belt? How long(miles) since the last timing belt change?

When you say water, my first guess was going to be the condensate drain for the air conditioning duct. If it's engine coolant and it's draining from the water pump area, like other fellas say, it's the weep hole for the water pump. This is supposed to be a warning sign of pump leakage.
