Where is the diagnostic connector?

A search for CEL turned up this thread that showed how to read a code by inserting a paper clip into the OBD-II connector as a jumper, then turn the ignition switch to on and then count the long and short flashes.

There was a picture, but I think it might be from an Accord. Does ours look like that and is it above the hood release? I sure didn't see it. The connector is open just as shown in the picture, isn't it, i.e. I don't have to pull any wiring out to insert the paper clip?

On my 99 Odyssey, the connector is right behind where your right knee would be when you're sitting in the driver's seat. Reach your right hand down to the right of your right knee and feel underneath the plastic cover (right where it starts to curve). The connector is positioned differently (horizontally), but the pin positions are the same.

You count the flashes on the cel light (they repeat)...

I couldn't find the codes link for the flashes at honduh.com (site down?), but located these...

Hope that helps.
