FUEL DOOR help needed!

I've had so many problems with this van in the last weeks that I feel like I need to write a novel to fill you in on everything in case it's related. But trying to keep it short...I had the Ody in for electrical problems, van shutting off, Engine Management System Failure warning, etc. While they had it, they "fixed" the rear window switch recall. After they did it I just knew it was going to be a problem. Below here, I have linked my other thread about all of this. But after I pulled away and got to my next stop, I realized the driver sliding door was not working right...like we can't open it from the inside, nor from the button inside, nor from the fob!! So I'm supposed to take the van back to them on Monday to give me a new transmission!! AND fix this door issue. But now I'm almost out of gas and I was just at the gas station and the fuel door won't open. I also tried the yellow pull cord in the rear of the van and it still won't open. Anybody able to tell me what I can do???? If nothing...then Honda's gonna have to tow this car an hour away to the dealership.

In case anybody cares about my opinion...I used to be so excited about this van...such a fan. But now I want it gone!! I've had nearly every problem on the forum and I held my patience til the last few weeks. I'm an hour away from the dealership and I might as well have some other piece of crap car that I can at least have serviced locally. I'm happy for everyone that's had good luck with theirs, but I guess I got one of the lemons. Sad cuz I really like the styling and ride. Wish I still had my 05...I only had one repair on it in 12 years.

Sounds like one problem causing both issues. The driver’s sliding door gets disabled when the fuel door is open, so it seems like whatever is jamming the fuel door shut is also making it falsely report as open and disable the sliding door. The fuel door is just a push and click type of catch, if it isn’t opening I’d be tempted to pry at it with something that won’t scratch like a plastic trim tool or piece of wood. It isn’t likely to resist much and the dealer will likely replace the latch anyway. We had a few kinks ourselves, but now that they’re worked out I really love the car. I’d give Honda a chance to make it right, but I’d also agree that initial quality is not consistent with the Honda brand reputation.

If the above doesn't work, I believe Honda will start using these:

Depends on if you are having the exact same problem! So your sliding door does not open and neither does your fuel door? What have you tried?
In your Owner's Manual it should explain how to use the emergency release for the fuel door if it does not open. Inside the fuel door there are 2 pins or plungers. One opens the fuel door, the other is an interlock that locks the sliding door. One or the other (or both) could be the issue.
