Why would anyone care what someone else's OTD price is? The taxes and fees are irrelevant to someone from another state
Because some states get crazy doc fee with some negotiated down sime not, some states r tax free, n so on. At the end of the day, ppl can see the dif between various states/cities.

I.E., if someone from AZ wants to get a new car, but seeing someone selling a used new car with like 100 miles in Oregan, they might want to get the used new car from Oregan, since AZ residents don't need to pay tax for "used" cars, while they need to pay tax for new, so might be worth the drive for the "used" car.

Personal note: It seemed in our area that a $5k discount off of an Elite was pretty standard and a few dealers even said as much, even though others tried to pretend they were giving us "such a great deal." I'm not sure the additional effort my spouse put in to get the extra $500 off was worth it, but he likes to negotiate and I don't. I'm so relieved the whole process is over and hope I don't need a new car for a very long time! This one should get my kids through college and then I'm definitely downsizing.

MSRP: $52,730 (no accessories)
Trim: 2025 Elite
Color: Platinum White
Sales Price before TTL & dealer processing: $47, 230
OTD: somewhere around $50,500
State: VA

Was happy to get the new color- without any add-ons was hard to find- most nearby had at least one factory installed package. Pleased they also matched Carmax offer so decided to bring it for trade-in instead for ease.
