Maybe before taxes. But in my state the taxes on the touring are line $4100. So that would mean I’d need an $8000 discount from msrp, which I don’t think is doable
When I bought my 2018 Odyssey, I paid $36,500 OTD, which gave the dealer a 2 grand profit. Now prices for cars are a lot more expensive, but I'm guessing dealer costs probably range around 40 grand depending on the model. See if you can get the dealer to disclose what they paid for the car so you can figure out how much wiggle room you have when negotiating. Dealers usually don't go below a grand over what they paid as their lowest offer unless they have some special going on to get rid of their inventory to make room on their lot. The lowest commission they give their salesman per car is around $500.

I bought almost at 8k below MSRP at $45,100 for a radiant red elite. It has a ceramic front tint, all weather mats, trunk cargo tray, wheel locks and mud guard installed by dealer which I didn't pay anything extra for it. My OTD price in Virginia was $48,000.

How was your experience? I have one on order from them that should be coming in soon. Price was best in the region. Did you get the 1.9% Honda financing? Did you buy an extended warranty?

It was good, we had bought 2 vehicles from them before so we were familiar with their process. We did finance some of the cost at 1.9% but no extended warranties. We have a 2022 Pilot that does have the extended warranty that we use for most of our daily driving.

The difference between the $0 deductible plan and $100 deductible plan is about a $100 or so. So why not pay the extra upfront one time and be fully covered? More of a curiosity Q than a suggestion.

Net present value of money. $100 is worth more now than it will be in 3 years, especially when I can earn 4.5% or so on it. The gamble is that I hope to not have multiple repairs during the warranty coverage period.

After some help from posters on this thread I ended up with:

Trim: EX-L
Color: Silver
Price before TTL: $40,019
OTD price: $41,821.12
City, State: Tysons Corner, Virginia
Dealer: Ourisman Honda
was that OTD minus a trade? Taxes and Virginia fees usually run about $3k. Congrats on the new Odyssey.
