Pretty new to sorting electrical issues. 2008 EX-L with parasitic drain; No aftermarket electrical mods; Using an ammeter yesterday, I was able to determine the backup/ACC fuse in main box under the hood was the culprit; Next to do is where I need some help.... I read somewhere on forum that this fuse feeds fuses 5,6,7,8 and 9 in the drivers side interior fuse box; I assume pulling each of those one at a time will then determine more detail where the issue is. Does anyone know if for example, it is fuse 5, what that controls .... same for 6,7, 8 and 9 ?? OR do I just go unplug the known connector culprits (driver side sliding door, passenger side sliding door, rear hatch latch) one by one and see if its one of them (I'm sure the best way would be knowing what fuses 5-9 do, but I have no clue what that is);

Pulling fuses is the dumb way to do a parasitic draw test:

How many amps is your draw?

Look at your Owner's manual to get a 'rough' idea of what each one of those fuses (5-9) protects.
If you don't have your Owner's manual you can download a free one from here:

Try pulling fuse #7 and see if that stops or greatly reduces that 1.6A drain.

Course, it could be one of the other ones.
Still, you basically need an electrical diagram to actually see what each one of those fuses protects, but I'm sure someone in this Forum will be able to tell you what those items are, even without supplying an electrical diagram.
If this drain just recently started, look at your ODY at night or in a dark room and see if any interior lights, etc are on.

PS: Yes, I know you don't have to pull the fuses if you do it the other way , as WiiMaster suggests.
Please report back if you find the fuse and the actual culprit.
Overall, good job for a least narrowing it down to the 40A fuse.

My project has been on the backburner, but back at it today with an UPDATE; Today I pulled fuse 6 (INTR LIGHT) in the driver side interior fuse box and the draw went from around 1.2 Amps to around 50 milliamps or so ...... does anyone have an idea what all to check that is tied to the INTR LIGHT fuse ?? I do not have any aftermarket radio system or any other aftermarket component;
