I just had my front rotors and pads replaced a week ago. However my next door neighbour was flollowing me home today and told me that only my centre brake light was working. Do you think they forgot to reconnect a wire

Replacing the pads or rotors shouldn't affect the brake light wires - if the centre light is working, the switch must be good - I would check the fuses...

Nope, only his center light was working, the two lower ones were out.

We don't have one. Damn cost accountants. ;)
Crap. So, they took that light and used it for the washer fluid level indicator I suppose.

The Canadian models have a larger windshield washer reservoir.

Why would they only do it to the canada model and why only a low washer light for the canada model too?
I guess they figure its colder there and it is important to have clean windshield ? Any how Toyota had "cold spec" on some models, mainly for cars that go to northern states...larger washer tanks..stronger battery (CCA)

I don't know, I did not build em but it might have to do with CA law. I wish the US models had it.

If I ever have replace the windshield washer fluid reservoir , I'll get the CA part to get the extra capacity.

this is weird.. both of my brake lights went out at the same time.. i think its just weird that they both die at the same time was originally thinking that it was a fuse but i cant even find the fuse that controls the brake lights, but will check the bulbs tomorrow. I usually find that one light will burn out before the other.. not at the same time.

btw.. does anyone know the bulb size for the brake lights.. 2005 model??

That's odd both out at the exactly same time. Any incidence of bad luck recently? May be related to some other origin like a switch instead of burnt bulbs to affect both simultaneously.

ya i know its odd.. the originator of this thread had the same thing happen to him, both brake lights out.. anyhow had the bulbs changed and working fine now! really bad a luxury minivan does not have a indicator to let u know the bulbs are burnt, thank god someone driving behind me told me about it.
