Well my question of why there are two blues was answered—no more obsidian blue pearl.

Will follow my 2021 playbook-wait a few months to let inventory build then go in to upgrade.

Got a deal to replace my Black Edition 2023 that is 2 years old with 2025 Touring (Elite equivalent in Canada) for C$6,639 on the road, couldn’t turn it down. Looking forward to the minor improvements as well. Wireless CarPlay will be nice.

I’m pretty set on a 2025 White Elite, coming from a 2014 EXL RES. We would almost certainly get Touring but need the folding mirrors to get in the garage. I had been planning to get beige interior but I guess my choices now are black or two-tone brown/black. The latter could look great, or weird. I’m curious to see it in person. I find it odd that the white exterior is the only color that even offers the brown two tone. Strange they would only put it on one color.

we also need to fold at least one mirror to get into our garage so I’m leaning toward the elite. But that $4k+ additional cost is a lot between the two trims.

If the folding mirror is the only reason you'd get the Elite, don't do it. You can buy power folding mirrors and save you $4k. If you want the other Elite features, go for it.

Open the window and fold the mirror and save $4k.

Not easy if it's the passenger side that needs to be folded and you have no passenger that can do it!
As Clean_Oddy suggests, replacing the mirrors is a more affordable option. There's at least 1 thread here on how to do the upgrade.

It seems like Touring and Elite are almost identical in features. These are the only differences.

ventilated front seats
Heated steering wheel
Hands Free tailgate
Power folding side mirrors
Upgraded Audio
Cabin talk through headphones and speakers
Touring also has Cabin talk. Touring for me was best bang for the buck. Plus I prefer that it doesn’t have seat perforations for easy cleaning. And I talked my dealer down to 46k even which was a great price off msrp over 48k.

I just put a deposit down on a Black '25 Elite. Looking like an October delivery.

I'm pretty underwhelmed with the updates, as seems to be the general consensus -- Especially after the press release a few months ago made it seem like it would be a bigger refresh (newer grill and dash, per the design standards of other new Honda's, and new Pilot engine). I will be trading in my Black '18 Ody Elite for essentially the same car (minus Honda Vac), but we love it and we kept it for a few years longer than we planned to (COVID spike in prices, lack of availability, not big enough updates in '21, etc, etc).

Regardless, I'm pretty excited and looking forward to it. We thought about trading for the Sienna, and although we like the idea of hybrid, the lack of power was a dealbreaker. The Pacifica is unimpressive, and the Carnival is nice but I'm unsure about the reliability and resale value. We have rented all 3 for at least a week on various vacations, and none of them offer the comfort of the Odyssey. So we will stick with it for at least 3 more years.

Hopefully the next one will be as impressive as the '18 was when it was released (I traded a '15 Ody Touring for it).
just out of curiosity why are you trading the 18 for the 2025 given it's more or less the same van
