Hey guys, was wondering if someone could help me figure out what is going on with my parents 1995 Honda Odyssey. For a while the brakes have been doing some weird stuff. Here are the specifics on the car and the brake pedal symptoms I have experienced. For a while now, I have realized when I come to a full stop at a traffic light with my foot on the brake and the car is completely motionless... after a few seconds sometimes the car will start inching forward and I will have to press down even further on the brake to get it to stop again. So basically, it seems that the brake pedal and the brakes will lose some of their pressure after the pedal is held down for a bit. Now, after driving it the other day, for the first time I noticed that while driving at various speeds the brake pedal pressure will vary. Sometimes it is responsive and I don't have to press down that hard to get the brakes to kick in, and other times it is not responsive and I have to press the brake pedal very far to the floor to get brake pressure. I need to take care of this soon since it's pretty dangerous for the driver to not know how much pressure he has to apply to the brakes while driving since it can randomly change. Anyone have any ideas of what would cause intermittent brake pedal pressure and brake engagement? Thanks a bunch.
