Is the 12,500 they are offering for your car in the ballpark of Trade-in value, you can always ask for a higher trade in value? FYI, research if you can get $15,000 or more by selling the car on your own.

Hey all! Has anyone come across a brand new 2019 Elite recently? I found one and the dealer quoted me $41,611 before tax, title and license. Original MSRP was $48,115. This is only roughly $2K less than what quote I got on a 2020, so it seems like they may be able to be negotiated down further just to get it off the lot. Anyone have any insight?

Good price, but not the greatest. You can negotiate that price. My '19 Elite, in August 2018, was purchased for couple of hundred bucks less than what your dealer quoted you. BTW, My Elite was made a month before I bought it. So if I could get it for similar price then, you should be able to get this a tad lower. See if they would go for $40K plus tax and title. However, if they go for it, watch the financial paperwork like a hawk; they may add things you dont know about.
