Trim: '25 Elite
Color: Modern Steel Metallic
Sticker MSRP: $50,880 + $1,395 dest. = $52,275
Price before TTL: $47,787
OTD price: $51,227 (WI resident tax 5.5%)
City, State: Morton Grove, IL
Dealer(If possible): Napleton
Notes: They had two MSM '25 Elites, one black interior, one gray (two-tone). Appears both sold same day (8/22/24). Starting price was $47,092 via CarGurus listing (lowest in US) on both and were listed elsewhere higher. Ate the $695 'already installed protection pkg' since the price was so good, which did include all season protection package II ($501 on Honda builder). Dealer has two more in-transit that posted today. Building is under major construction (full rebuild) which is the purported reason for both low pricing and applying protectants immediately. Was tough to get invoice pricing online for a '25 so soon, but one site did tell me ~$46,500. Made the switch from a midsize 3-row SUV and thrilled so far. I rent a lot of vehicles, but never a Honda (they don't sell to fleets - good) and Honda Sensing (adaptive cruise, steering assist) blows away the competition (especially Chrysler's LOL) at its level - close match to Audi's, IMO.
Hey, I saw your post saying you got a 2025 odyssey from Napleton in Morton Grove. I live around the area and is looking into getting an odyssey as well. I was just wondering how has your experience with Napoleon and the odyssey been?

I read alot of posts from owners citing electrical, door and transmission issues, but wasn't sure if the newer models addressed those issues.

I would appreciate any advices you can give.

Thanks!

Trim: EX-L

Color: Platinum pearl white

Price before TTL: The dealer gave me $4,000 off the MSRP.

OTD price: California tax and some paperwork fee, and While I was getting the loan, I also purchased hondacare extended warranty($950). So I paid about $46,000

City, State: CA, San Jose

Dealer(If possible): Autonation Honda Fremont - David Bernal Diaz (341-233-8364)

I called and emailed several dealerships and most of them either wouldn't give me a price or offered me a discount of $3,000 off MSRP.
The dealer I purchased the car from responded quickly, was friendly, and gave me a good price.
Sadly a month ago my previous 2014 Odyssey was a totaled in an accident. But now I'm happy to have purchased a new, fully upgraded Odyssey. The platinum white pearl color matches well with the 2025 black trim design and is so beautiful!!

I also purchased hondacare extended warranty($950).

@bom2hana -- can you share more about the details of your Hondacare warranty -- e.g., number of years and total mileage coverage? Honda offers many different combinations of duration and mileage, so knowing what you got for $950 would help others of us in CA understand the market better. Thanks!

I bought a 2025 Odyssey. I thought HondaCare for 2025 only covers maintenance for 12 months or 12,000 miles. So I bought a additional 3year plan that covers 48 months or 48.000miles.

Honda Care Maintenance includes the following services

That includes:
• Oil and filter
• Tire rotation
• Air intake filter
• Cabin air filter
• Rear differential fluid
• Automatic transmission fluid
• Transfer case fluid
• Brake fluid
• Multi-point inspection:
• Front and rear brakes
• Parking brake adjustment
• Tire rod ends
• Steering gear box and boots
• Suspension components
• Drive shaft boots
• Brake hoses and lines (including
ABS/VS)
• All fluid levels and condition of fluids
• Exhaust system
• Fuel lines and connections
• Drive belts

OTD price:$47,000 with 2.9% finance

Dealer(If possible):

Was getting $2000-$2500 off MSRP of $48005 without any negotiating, and figured could get a couple thousand more off. I do not like spending too much time and going to different dealerships and emailing/texting, so I just figured out what my price I wanted and stuck with it and be willing to walk away. I went in wanting $46,000 OTD and was ok with $47,000 OTD, and I basically told them I don't want to waste time and this is my price and I will buy it right now if I get it. Could probably have goten few hundred dollars less or some add ons, but figured was not worth the time. Car buying can definitely be awkward/annoying in person, especially when salesman right off the bat said something I do not understand like the price of the car is automatically $1500 more because of some protection/coating or something. I basically told him, I do not care about that stuff, and this is the OTD price I want. I think getting to the point with them saves everyone time.

I have called all of the Bay Area, CA Honda dealerships so far and have not received an offer lower than $49K + change for a Honda EX-L in silver color; anything lower than a pre-TTL offer of $44,000 has everyone questioning if I have gone mad, as they believe they would lose money on it. Have called Manly, Walnut Creek, Capitol, Salinas, Anderson... kinda mad! Wonder if it is the wrong time of the month to be calling these folks.
49K for EX-L? or Elite?

Can you please share the dealership information and sales contact?

Color: Smoke Blue Pearl
Price before TTL: $43,360
OTD price: $45,781.65 w/$750 trade of 2009 Odyssey EX-L w/Nav & RES (274K miles), incl. $399?? floor mats for free
City, State: near Cincinnati, OH

I thought I wanted the Elite but the first inexperienced salesman did not show us the blue Elite two weeks ago that I wanted that they HAD in stock. I then saw online that the Elite "gray" interior really is gray and black two-tone and I personally didn't care for it. Yesterday, we went to our closest dealer. We saw the Smoke Blue Pearl Touring and also looked at an Elite. (My husband did like the two-tone interior on the Elite). I initially offered $45,000 OTD for the Touring & he said they could never do that with MSRP being $48,360. I then offered $46,000 OTD. I said I'd like $1000 for my trade-in. He came back with a higher OTD price and with a $750 trade-in offer. We agreed on an OTD price with trade-in of $45,781.65. They gave us the $399 floor mats. I kept thinking I should go the email route per this board, but my husband thought this was probably a good deal. Idk...LOL
You got your money's worth on the 2009. Congrats on picking the right color for your 2025.

I purchased a 2025 Sport L yesterday; I live in San Diego California and all the dealers were hard to deal with, they all had 2-3k worth of add On's so either they took money off from the MSRP or they took it off the dealer add on's. I checked many dealers in Southern California and finally found one that didn't add any dealer installed items. We qualified for the 2.9% Honda loan and put 15K down, payments came out to $683. The dealer only charges $85. for the Doc fees, many others in our area charged $150, I am happy with our purchase.

Trim. Sport-L
Color Sonic Gray Pearl
MSRP. $44,920
Paid. $41,920
OTD. $45,902

Trim: Elite
Color: Solar Silver with gray interior
MSRP: $52,630.00 no add ons
Price before TTL: $47,153.07
Goverment fees: $692.24
Doc fees: $85
Tax: $3,660.95 (CA)
OTD: $51,591.26

How does this deal look? I think it's fair with a good dealer discount. Not too sure what those government fees are though. All via email so far. Hoping it pans out with no surprises. Thanks
anyway you can share the details of the offer and probably dealer info? I am at socal and would like to finalize a deal with the same trim... DM is limited since I just joined

Working on an elite deal and have been emailing and requesting quotes from dealer in Southern California. Not many willing to even give out numbers , some even insisted on selling at MSRP. best i have gotten so far was from Glendale, 2024 for 50k otd and 53k for 2025. decent but not great deal especially after hearing friends bought last year at 2024 same trim for over 5k off MSRP.

See if you can use truecar or some other aggregator to send interest to bunch of dealerships in your area. You should get pricing from at least one of them that’s lower OTD than MSRP.
Other option is $100 plane ticket to SF Bay Area + $70 uber + $100 in gas to drive down to SoCal + whatever value you assign to your time. Here dealerships will play ball below MsRP

Purchase date: 2/15/2025
Trim: Touring
Color: Solar Silver Metallic, Black Leather
Price before TTL: $44,310 (included All Season Floor Mats, Cargo Tray - Deep, Ikon car tracker (1 year subscription), paint and fabric protection).
OTD price: n/a (in Oklahoma we pay tax separately to the DMV up to 2 months later - tax is 4.5% of purchase price. So add 4.5% to the price above to calculate the total cost of purchase.)
City, State: Oklahoma City, OK
Dealer(If possible):

Notes: We would have purchased the all season floor mats and cargo tray - deep anyway, which is $401. We valued the ridiculous Ikon car tracker and paint and fabric protection at literally $0 - even if free we wouldn't want it. So excluding the all season floor mats and cargo tray - deep, purchase price is basically $43,909.
We had a quote from a different dealer we really like of $43,500 for the same vehicle but with a different color combo (not one with premium paint) we did not want. I usually refuse to purchase from a dealer that adds even a single thing to the vehicle but we could not find a better price after contacting 23 dealers, thus we moved forward with this deal. As usual, the financing office was ridiculous and when you say no to all the silly warranty stuff they get upset, but the sales person/team was great.

Carvana, try Downtown Honda in LA, it may be worth the drive, I purchased a Sport from them for $45,000 out the door, with no add ons. This was the only dealership that had this pricing in Socal that I could find. I'm in San Diego, used to live in the Bay area, Oakland Hills.

I ended up getting that deal using Costco's auto program. The dealer was DCH Honda of Mission Valley and they were straightforward and easy to work with. The lack of Elites in the San Diego area was our main challenge. Good luck!
