Engine stalls at speed above 30 mph

While driving our 2019 Honda Odyssey EX-L, the engine loses all acceleration for 2-4 seconds while driving between 30-70 mph. Just before it happens there is somewhat of a grinding noise followed by not being able to accelerate at all for a couple of seconds, the rpms drop to below 1000, then the engine will revert back to normal.

I do not believe it's a transmission issue because even if I depress the accelerator the engine will not rev up. The car doesn't turn off either. The only thing that happens is the engine refuses to rev up. I do not use ECON mode.

Any ideas?

Get codes read somewhere.
Sounds electrical.
Chewed up wires?
Odd.
Noise prior concerning.

That's all I got.

Good luck

ETA; I lied. Found this.
Does any of this sound familiar?

Don't say that it cannot be in the transmission, as the TCU (Transmission Control Unit -motherboard) talks to the engine controller and can tell it too not raise the RPM's during that time, for instance would be when the transmission would be shifting between drive-gears to lowers it's RPM by 400 RPMS to shift smother. I am not saying that is what the problem is, but at the same time it could be the transmission as well as any other component on the engine.

Put " why does my Honda Odyssey hesitate when I accelerate? " in the search box of Google etc. for some possible solutions. Or something similar.
I am surprised more members haven't responded as I'm pretty sure you aren't the only one with this problem.
Do get codes read just in case there is one.
