Is there a thread or link of pictures of how brightly lit the road is with HIR's?

These pics are from my Land Cruiser out on a frozen lake last week, but I would expect the same results from the Ody. I will try to snap some tomorrow, but I don't have any good stock photos to compare to. It only takes a minute to swap the lows so if I get time, I will do a "formal" test.

They actually make the road signs show up so far down the road, it takes some getting used to.

I get to play "limo driver" tomorrow night for my next door neighbor who's going to an AC/DC concert in town. Drop them off and pick them up after. Should have some time to kill taking pics of the headlights in action. Stay tuned...............

Thanks for the pics. Must say, it's probably a bit decieving, with all the reflection off the snow. Looking forward to more pics if possible.

btw, you getting paid to be limo driver? or you just being a good neighbor?

Just a good neighbor.

Went over and ate his food, drank his beer, then waited until they fit everyone in the first van. So I basically blew a whole day I could have been fishing, waiting for nothing.

Oh well. He blows my driveway with his new JD mower/blower so I can't complain.

I never got to test the van lights last night, and literally just got off the lake an hour ago with my truck. Wicked snow/ice/slush. Yuck.
